Removal Procedure
  1. Unscrew and remove the antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement.
  2. Tilt the hood assembly forward to access the antenna base.

    3. Object Number: 808096 Size: SH
  3. Remove the antenna base mounting fasteners.

    4. Object Number: 823462 Size: SH
  4. Remove the passenger side knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement.
  5. Disconnect the fixed antenna base cable connector from the antenna cable.
  6. Push the fixed antenna base cable grommet through the bulkhead.
  7. Remove the fixed antenna base from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 823462 Size: SH
  1. Install the fixed antenna base to the vehicle.
  2. Install the fixed antenna base cable through the bulkhead and seat the grommet.
  3. Connect the fixed antenna base cable to the antenna cable.
  4. Install the passenger side knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement.

    5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  5. Install the antenna base mounting fasteners.

    6. Tighten

        • Tighten the antenna base mounting bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
        • Tighten the antenna base mounting nut to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
  6. Install the antenna mast.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the mast to 5.5 N·m (49 lb in).
