Removal Procedure
  1. Block the wheels.
  2. Drain all the reservoirs. Refer to Draining Reservoirs .

    3. Object Number: 1488992 Size: SH
  3. Use a large filter wrench to remove the air dryer desiccant cartridge.
  4. Remove the air dryer desiccant cartridge.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1488992 Size: SH
  1. Install the air dryer desiccant cartridge to the air dryer.
  2. Tighten the air dryer desiccant cartridge by hand. DO NOT over tighten.
  3. Start the engine.
  4. Charge the system air pressure to the governor cut-out point.
  5. Inspect for leaks with a soap solution and repair, as needed.
  6. Remove the wheel blocks.
