Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner layer. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .
  2. Remove the charge air cooler pipe from the intake pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe and Outlet Pipe Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 834118 Size: SH
  3. Remove the electrical connections from the intake air heater.
  4. Remove the retaining nuts from the intake pipe.
  5. Remove air inlet pipe.
  6. Remove the intake air heater.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 834118 Size: SH
  1. Install the intake air heater and gaskets to the intake manifold.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the intake pipe to the intake air heater.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten nuts to 14 N·m (11 lb ft)

  3. Install the charge air cooler pipe to the intake pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe and Outlet Pipe Replacement .
  4. Install the air cleaner layer. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .
