Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air brake chamber clevis.
  2. Remove the air line from the air brake chamber assembly. Refer to Hose and Line Replacement - Nylon Push-In Type Fitting .

    3. Object Number: 201888 Size: SH
  3. Remove the mounting nuts and the washers from the air brake chamber assembly.
  4. Remove the air brake chamber assembly from the brake chamber/camshaft support bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 201888 Size: SH
  1. Install the air brake chamber assembly to the brake chamber/camshaft support bracket.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the mounting washers and the nuts to the air brake chamber assembly.

    3. Tighten

        • Tighten the (Type 16) service brake chamber assembly mounting nuts to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).
        • Tighten the (Type 20 and Type 24) service brake chamber assembly mounting nuts to 106 N·m (80 lb ft).
  3. Install the clevis.
  4. Install the air line to the air brake chamber assembly. Refer to Hose and Line Replacement - Nylon Push-In Type Fitting .
