Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 797589 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the clutch engine brake switch (1) electrical harness (2) connectors.

    2. Object Number: 797588 Size: SH
  2. If required, squeeze the retaining ears and remove the clutch engine brake switch retainer.
  3. Unthread the clutch engine brake switch from the retainer.

Installation Procedure
  1. If removed, install the clutch engine brake switch retainer.

    2. Object Number: 797588 Size: SH
  2. Install the clutch engine brake switch by threading the switch into the retainer.
  3. Perform the following adjustment procedure:
    4. 3.1. Ensure that the clutch pedal free play adjustment is correct. Refer to Clutch Pedal Free Travel Adjustment .
    3.2. With the clutch pedal fully released, tread switch in until the switch plunger is fully depressed.

  4. Connect the clutch engine brake switch (1) electrical harness (2) connectors.
