Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2007 🢒 Kodiak C-Series (Conventional) C6/C7/C8 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 7.8L (LG4) 🢒 Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1400956 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pressure sensor  (5).
  3. Remove the fuel pressure sensor (5) from the fuel rail.

Inspection Procedure
  1. Inspect the sensor for damage.
  2. Replace the sensor if the sensor is worn or damaged.
  3. Inspect the packing for cracks or leaks.
  4. Replace the packing if the packing is worn or damaged.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the fuel pressure sensor into the fuel rail.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the sensor to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel pressure sensor (5).
  3. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
