Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1993633 Size: SH

    Important: Note wire routing prior to removal.

  1. Disconnect the turbocharger vane position sensor electrical connector (1).
  2. Remove the turbocharger vane position sensor harness clamp bolt and clamp from the turbocharger and the sensor harness.
  3. Remove the turbocharger vane position sensor connector from the bracket.
  4. Remove the turbocharger vane position sensor from the turbocharger.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1993633 Size: SH
  1. Install the turbocharger vane position sensor to the turbocharger.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the sensor to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  2. Install the turbocharger vane position sensor connector to the bracket.
  3. Connect the turbocharger vane position sensor electrical connector (1).
  4. Install the turbocharger vane position sensor harness clamp to the sensor harness and secure to the turbocharger with bolt.
