This vehicle uses primarily rubber exhaust pipe hanger insulators to mount the exhaust system to the underbody at fixed points. Refer to Exhaust System Clearances if exhaust system noises and/or vibrations are present. Check the exhaust system clearance anytime all or part of the exhaust system is removed and/or replaced. If the specifications measured on the vehicle are not consistent with the Exhaust System Clearances, inspect for missing or faulty exhaust pipe hanger insulators or a damaged catalytic converter support bracket near the transmission .
