Adjuster Will Not
Lock

| • | Seat Adjuster handle twisted or bent |
| • | Adjuster lockbar return spring broken |
| • | Lock sticking or binding on adjuster |
| • | Obstruction or bent lockbar |
| • | Crosswire missing or disconnected |
|
| • | Straighten handle to ensure both sides release and lock at the
same time or replace. |
| • | Lubricate lockbar pivot with AutoLube A. If lockbar binding,
eliminate cause of binding or replace adjuster. |
| • | Route crosswire correctly or replace crosswire. |
| • | Connect or replace crosswire. |

Seat Hard To Move
Forward or Backward
|
| • | Adjusters new, not broken in. (Required break in period 20 cycles) |
| • | Adjuster(s) improperly lubricated |
| • | Adjuster(s) binding due to bent or damaged channel |
| • | Adjuster binding due to bearing out of position |
|
| • | Operate seat to full-forward and full-rearward positions several
times to work new tightness out of channels. |
| • | Lubricate adjuster channels with AutoLube A or equivalent. |
| • | Push on adjuster full-forward (into stops) to rephase. |

One Adjuster Track Looks Ahead of The Other Track

one track ahead of the other
|
- Move the seat fully forward.
- Remove two assist springs.
- Loosen the adjuster to floor and adjuster to seat bolts.
- Latch seat in full-forward position and tighten adjuster to floor
bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft) and the adjuster to
seat bolts to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).
- Reconnect the two assist springs.
