Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1962848 Size: SH
  1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine control module (ECM) connectors.
  3. Remove the ECM from the bracket.
  4. Remove the ECM bracket if necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1962848 Size: SH
  1. If removed, install the ECM bracket.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the ECM bracket bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  2. Install the ECM.
  3. Connect the ECM connectors.
  4. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
