For 1990-2009 cars only
- Place the transaxle in the NEUTRAL position.
- Place the clutch in the DISENGAGED position.
- Run the engine at a normal idle.
- Engage the clutch.
- Wait approximately 9 seconds, then shift the transaxle into the REVERSE position.
- Inspect the clutch for disengagement if a grinding noise is heard.
