The windshield/washer system consists of the following components:
| • | A permanent-magnet wiper motor assembly |
| • | A transmission assembly |
| • | The wiper arm and blade assemblies |
| • | A washer solvent container |
| • | A wiper/washer switch assembly |
The following components are mounted on the solvent container:
| • | A washer pump (or pumps) |
| • | A solvent level sensor |
A printed circuit board in the wiper motor cover assembly controls the following functions:
| • | Pulse |
| • | Timing |
| • | Demand wash |
The wiper motor is equipped with radio frequency interference (RFI) suppression.
