You must perform a Passlock™ Learn Procedure if any of the following components have been replaced:

•	Passlock™ sensor

•	Body control module

•	Vehicle control module

•	Powertrain control module

All of the above modules except for the Passlock™ sensor must be programmed using their own vehicle configuration. See the individual module service manual section.

There are 2 types of Passlock learn procedures:

•	A 30 minute Auto Learn procedure which requires a scan tool used in order to clear codes. PASSLOCK Reprogramming Auto Learn

•	A 10 minute Seed and Key procedure which requires a Techline Terminal and a Tech 2 scan tool. This procedure is listed below:

Seed and Key - 10 Minute Procedure

Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
Select Service Programming on the Tech 2 screen, follow instructions.
Select Service Programming on the Techline Terminal and follow instructions.
