Important: This test assumes that the bulb has been checked and is not the cause of the failure. The ground circuit is not diagnosed here. A poor ground would result in multiple failures. If any other symptoms are present refer to Exterior Lights System Check .

Did you perform the Exterior Lights System Check?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Inspect the RT TRN fuse in the underhood fuse block.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 3

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
2. Move the turn signal switch to the RIGHT TURN position.
3. Inspect the voltage at the test point on the RT TRN fuse.

Is voltage present?

Battery Voltage

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1419 (DK GRN/WHT).

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Connect a J 39200 DMM between the right park and turn signal lamp connector terminal A and ground.

Is voltage present?

Battery Voltage

Go to Intermittents and Poor Connections Diagnosis

Go to Step 6

Locate and repair the open in CKT 619 (DK GRN).

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Locate and repair a short to ground in CKT 619 (DK GRN).

Is the repair complete?

--
