For 1990-2009 cars only
A DTC may be cleared from the memory of the seat adjuster memory module by performing one of the following procedures:
| • | Disconnect the battery. |
| • | Disconnect the seat adjuster memory module electrical connector. |
| • | Use the scan tool. |
| • | Cycle the ignition without the fault reoccurring. |
Clearing DTC(s) from the seat adjuster memory module memory is necessary after a repair or to test if a malfunction will occur again. If the fault still exists the DTC will re-set after clearing the DTC(s).
