Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 303376 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear side door upper latch striker cover, use a flat-bladed tool to release the retainers from the roof panel.

    2. Object Number: 870155 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts retaining the striker to roof panel.
  3. Remove the striker and shim(s) from the roof panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 870155 Size: SH
  1. Install the striker and shim(s) to the roof panel.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts retaining the striker to the roof panel.
  3. Adjust the striker using the procedure below:
    4. • Tighten the bolts to a sung fit.
    • Close the door to self align striker.
    • Check for door fit.
    • Add or remove shims as required (maximum of 3).

    Tighten
    Tighten the striker bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the upper latch striker cover.
