Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2001 🢒 S10 Pickup - 4WD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 5.0L and 5.7L 🢒 Oil Pump Disassemble

    Object Number: 5274 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil pump driveshaft and oil pump driveshaft retainer.

    2. Object Number: 5275 Size: SH

    Important: Do not remove the oil pump screen from the pipe. The pipe and oil pump screen are serviced as a complete assembly.

  2. Remove the oil pump pipe, if necessary. The oil pump pipe has a press fit into the oil pump cover.

    3. Object Number: 5276 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pump cover bolts.

    4. Object Number: 5277 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil pump cover.

    5. Object Number: 5278 Size: SH
  5. Remove the oil pump drive gear and the oil pump driven gear.
  6. Matchmark the gear teeth for assembly.

    7. Object Number: 30401 Size: SH

    Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

  7. Remove the following items:
    8. 7.1. The oil pump pressure relief valve spring straight pin
    7.2. The oil pump pressure relief spring
    7.3. The oil pump pressure relief valve
