Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical

    2. Object Number: 293819 Size: SH
  2. Use a flat bladed tool in order to remove the door jamb switch from the rear door hinge-pillar.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    4. Tape the wires to the body in order to prevent them from dropping into the rear door hinge-pillar.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the electrical connector.

    2. Object Number: 293819 Size: SH
  2. Install the door jamb switch to the rear door hinge-pillar.
  3. Connect the battery negative cable.
