Adjustment Procedure

    Object Number: 1325789 Size: SH
  1. Position the window fully up.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1275116 Size: SH
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1325785 Size: SH
  4. Loosen the jack screw jam nut (1).
  5. Adjust tip in with the jack screw (2).

    6.    Important: One turn of the screw equals approximately 1 mm (0.04 in) change at the top of the window.

    • Turn the jack screw clockwise to tip the window outward.
    • Turn the jack screw counterclockwise to tip the window inward.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  6. Tighten the jack screw jam nut (1).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the jack screw jam nut to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  7. Raise the window and inspect the alignment. Repeat the procedure as necessary.

  8. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  9. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Close the door.
