Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 877698 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector (1).
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1602987 Size: SH
  3. Disengage the baffle retainer and remove the baffle.

    4. Object Number: 1602988 Size: SH
  4. Grasp the air cleaner assembly and pull up on the assembly in order to disengage the retaining pins from the grommets.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1602988 Size: SH
  1. Line up the retaining pins with the grommets.
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly until the air cleaner is seated fully on the mounts and is up against the fender apron.

    3. Object Number: 1602987 Size: SH
  3. Install the baffle and engage the baffle retainer.

    4. Object Number: 877698 Size: SH
  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  5. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector (1).
