Preliminary Procedures

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Apply the park brake.
3. Disconnect the brake master cylinder pressure sensor electrical connector.

Brake Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. After the installation is complete, bleed the hydraulic brake system at the front wheels only. It is not necessary the bleed the rear hydraulic circuit. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
2. Do not lubricate the sensor threads prior to installation.

26 N·m (19 lb ft)

Procedure

1. Discard the O-ring seal.
2. Do not lubricate the O-ring seal prior to installation.
