Preliminary Procedures

1. Position the door window as needed for service.
2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the rear door inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .

Rear Door Window Weatherstrip

Procedure

1. Use a plastic flat-bladed tool to assist in releasing the window weatherstrip from the door frame.
2. Carefully pull the window weatherstrip from the door flange.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Position the door window as needed for service.
2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
3. Remove the rear door inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement.

Rear Door Rear Window Weatherstrip Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Rear Door Rear Window Weatherstrip

Procedure

After the bolt has been removed from the weatherstrip, pull downward to release it from the door.

Rear Door Front Window Weatherstrip Bolt

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)
