Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

1. Disconnect the wiper/washer switch connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON, engine OFF.

Is the washer still ON?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Repair the short to ground condition in the washer control circuit between the wiper/washer switch and the washer pump. Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 5

Replace the wiper/washer switch.

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 5

1. Turn the ignition switch ON, engine OFF.
2. Operate the washer pump.

Does the washer pump operate properly?

System OK
