Release Bearing Replacement Y4M

Tools Required

1. Remove the transaxle from the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement for the Y4M transmission.
2. Remove the release arm. Refer to Clutch Release Arm Replacement .



3. Remove the release bearing.
4. Remove the No. 2 bushing and seal using DT 47514  (2) and a hammer.
5. Remove the release shaft (1).



6. Insert the tap (M14X1.5) to the No. 1 bushing (1).



7. Insert DT 47514  (1) into the tab.
8. Connect J 2619-01  (2) to the end of DT 47513 .
9. Remove the No. 1 bushing by pulling.

1. Install the No. 1 release shaft bushing using 09923 46040  (1) , DT 47513  (2), and a hammer.



2. Install the No. 2 release shaft bushing and seal using DT 47514  (1) and a hammer.



3. Coat the spline of the transaxle input shaft with multi-purpose grease (1).
4. Coat the release bearing bore and the connecting of the release shaft with multi-purpose grease (2).
5. Install the release bearing.
6. Install the release arm. Refer to Clutch Release Arm Replacement .
7. Install the transaxle to the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement for the Y4M transmission.
