Disassembly Procedure

    Object Number: 5274 Size: SH
  1. Remove the shaft and retainer.

    2. Object Number: 5275 Size: SH
  2. If necessary, remove the oil pump screen.
    3. • The oil pump screen has a press fit in to the pump cover.
    • Do not remove the screen from the pipe. The pipe and screen are serviced as a complete assembly.

  3. Remove the cover bolts.

    4. Object Number: 5277 Size: SH
  4. Remove the pump cover.

    5. Object Number: 5278 Size: SH
  5. Remove the drive gear and the driven gear. Matchmark the gear teeth for assembly.

    6. Object Number: 30401 Size: SH
  6. Remove the following items:
    7. • The retaining pin
    • The pressure regulator spring
    • The pressure regulator valve
