Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 344345 Size: SH
  1. Remove the inner axle shaft and housing assembly. Refer to Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft and Inner Shaft Housing Replacement .
  2. Remove the clutch fork assembly (2) from the inner axle shaft housing (1).
  3. Remove the clutch fork inner spring from the differential carrier case assembly. Take care not to dislodge the inner axle clutch shim from the inner axle shaft.

Disassembly Procedure

    Object Number: 344354 Size: SH
  1. Remove the clip (4) from the clutch fork lever (1).
  2. Remove the clutch fork (3) and the clutch fork outer spring (2) from the clutch fork shaft (1).

Assembly Procedure

    Object Number: 344354 Size: SH
  1. Install the clutch fork outer spring (2) and the clutch fork (3) onto the clutch fork shaft (1).
  2. Install the clip (4) onto the clutch fork shaft (1). Ensure the clip fully seats into the groove on the clutch fork shaft.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 344345 Size: SH
  1. Install the clutch fork inner spring into the differential carrier case assembly.
  2. Install the clutch fork assembly (1) into the inner axle shaft housing (2).
  3. Install the inner axle shaft and housing assembly. Refer to Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft and Inner Shaft Housing Replacement .
