Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the I/P cluster trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    2. Object Number: 879199 Size: SH
  2. Insert a flat bladed tool at the top and bottom of the switch assembly as shown in the graphic in order to pry it out.
  3. Pull out the switch assembly in order to gain access to the connector.
  4. Disconnect the wire connector.
  5. Remove the switch from the I/P.

    6. The rear wiper switch (1) is replaced as an assembly if the vehicle is equipped with front fog lamps.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 879199 Size: SH
  1. Connect the wire connector to the switch assembly.
  2. Push in the switch assembly (1,2) until both tabs click in place.
  3. Install the I/P cluster trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
