Inspect the following components and the following conditions:

| • | The wheel bearings for wear or damage |
| • | The coupling from the column to the steering gear for damage,
wear, and improper installation |
| • | The tie rod ends for free movement |
| • | The ball joints for free movement |
| • | The steering shaft bearings for free movement |
| • | The ball studs for lack of lubrication |
| • | The tie rod ends for lack of lubrication |
| • | The ball studs for binding |
| • | The steering column for binding |
| • | The flow control valve for sticking and improper operation |
| • | The steering gear for binding |
