Did you review the Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation and perform the necessary inspections?

Go to Symptoms - Lighting Systems

Verify that the left tail lamp is inoperative.

Is the left tail lamp inoperative?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

1. Turn the light switch to the ON position.
2. Test for battery voltage at terminal 1 of the tail lamp assembly connector.

Is battery voltage present?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in the tail lamp supply voltage circuit between the tail lamp assembly and S305. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in the ground circuit between the tail lamp assembly and S300. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
