Rear Door Lock Replacement 2 Door

1. Remove the endgate trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .
2. Open the endgate lock cylinder control rod retainer (3).
3. Remove the endgate lock cylinder control rod (4) from the endgate lock cylinder (2).



4. Open the endgate lock cylinder control rod retainer (2).
5. Remove the endgate lock cylinder control rod (1) from the endgate lock (3).



6. Remove the 3 screws which secure the endgate lock (1).
7. Remove the endgate lock (1) from the endgate panel (2).

1. Install the endgate lock (1) to the endgate panel (2). Secure the lock with the 3 screws.



2. Install the endgate lock cylinder control rod (1) to the endgate lock (3). Secure the rod by closing the endgate lock cylinder control rod retainer (2).



3. Install the endgate lock cylinder control rod (4) to the endgate lock cylinder (2). Secure the rod by closing the endgate lock cylinder control rod retainer (3).
4. Install the endgate trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .

Rear Door Lock Replacement 4 Door - With Power Locks

1. Remove the rear door trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .
2. Open the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (3).
3. Remove the rear door lock cylinder control rod (4) from the rear door lock cylinder (2).



4. Open the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (2).
5. Remove the rear door lock cylinder control rod (1) from the rear door lock (3).



6. Disconnect the rear door lock electrical connector.
7. Remove the 4 screws which secure the rear door lock (1).
8. Remove the rear door lock (1) from the rear door (2).

1. Install the rear door lock (1) to the rear door (2). Secure the lock with the 4 screws.
2. Connect the rear door lock electrical connector.



3. Install the rear door lock cylinder control rod (1) to the rear door lock (3). Secure the rod by closing the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (2).



4. Install the rear door lock cylinder control rod (4) to the rear door lock cylinder (2). Secure the rod by closing the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (3).
5. Install the rear door trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .

Rear Door Lock Replacement 4 Door - Without Power Locks

1. Remove the rear door trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .
2. Open the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (3).
3. Remove the rear door lock cylinder control rod (4) from the rear door lock cylinder (2).



4. Open the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (2).
5. Remove the rear door lock cylinder control rod (1) from the rear door lock (3).



6. Remove the 3 screws which secure the rear door lock (1).
7. Remove the rear door lock (1) from the rear door (2).

1. Install the rear door lock (1) to the rear door (2). Secure the lock with the 3 screws.



2. Install the rear door lock cylinder control rod (1) to the rear door lock (3). Secure the rod by closing the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (2).



3. Install the rear door lock cylinder control rod (4) to the rear door lock cylinder (2). Secure the rod by closing the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (3).
4. Install the rear door trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .
