Front Side Door Lock Replacement Without Power Locks

1. Remove the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
2. Open the front side door outside handle rod retainer and remove the front side door outside handle rod from the front side door outside handle.
3. Open the front side door inside handle rod retainer and remove the front side door inside handle rod from the front side door lock.
4. Open the front side door lock cylinder rod retainer and remove the front side door lock cylinder rod from the door lock.
5. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

5.1.	The 3 screws

5.2.	The front side door lock

6. Unscrew and remove the front side door locking rod knob from the front side door locking rod.

1. Install the front side door locking rod knob to the front side door locking rod.
2. Install the front side door lock to the vehicle. Secure the door lock with the 3 screws.
3. Install the front side door lock cylinder rod to front side door lock. Secure the rod by closing the front side door lock cylinder rod retainer.
4. Install the front side door inside handle rod to the door lock. Secure the rod by closing the front side door inside handle rod retainer.
5. Install the front side door outside handle rod to the outside handle. Secure the rod by closing the front side door outside handle rod retainer.
6. Install the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

Front Side Door Lock Replacement With Power Locks

1. Remove the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
2. Open the front side door outside handle rod retainer and remove the front side door outside handle rod from the front side door outside handle.
3. Open the front side door inside handle rod retainer and remove the front side door inside handle rod from the front side door lock.
4. Open the front side door lock cylinder rod retainer and remove the front side door lock cylinder rod from the door lock.
5. Disconnect the front side door lock electrical connector.
6. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

6.1.	The 3 screws

6.2.	The front side door lock

7. Unscrew and remove the front side door locking rod knob from the front side door locking rod.

1. Install the front side door locking rod knob to the front side door locking rod.
2. Install the front side door lock to the vehicle. Secure the door lock with the 3 screws.
3. Connect the front side door lock electrical connector.
4. Install the front side door lock cylinder rod to front side door lock. Secure the rod by closing the front side door lock cylinder rod retainer.
5. Install the front side door inside handle rod to the door lock. Secure the rod by closing the front side door inside handle rod retainer.
6. Install the front side door outside handle rod to the outside handle. Secure the rod by closing the front side door outside handle rod retainer.
7. Install the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
