Did you review the Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation and perform the necessary inspections?

Verify that the license plate lamps are inoperative.

Are the license plate lamps inoperative?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

1. Turn the light switch to the ON position.
2. Test for battery voltage at terminal 2 of the license plate lamps connector.

Is battery voltage present?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in the license plate lamp supply voltagebetween the license plate lamp and S305. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in the groung circuit between the license plate lamp and S400. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
