Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 712827 Size: SH
  1. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Disconnect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the brake pedal position sensor bolt.
  4. Remove the brake pedal position sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 712827 Size: SH
  1. Install the brake pedal position sensor to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the brake pedal position sensor bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
