Removal Procedure
  1. Partially remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 753531 Size: SH
  2. Remove the latch release cables (1) from the latch release mechanism, located at the bottom of the seat back frame.
  3. Remove the head restraint release cable (2) from the left hand hinge bracket.

    4. Object Number: 753533 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the latch bracket to the hinge bracket.
  5. Remove the bolts (1) that retain the hinge bracket to the seat back frame.
  6. Remove the hinge bracket from the seat back frame.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the hinge bracket to the seat back frame.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 753533 Size: SH
  2. Install the hinge bracket to the seat back frame with 2 bolts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the seat back hinge bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  3. Install the latch bracket to the hinge bracket with 2 bolts (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat back hinge bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  4. Install the latch release cables (1) to the latch release mechanism, located at the bottom of the seat back frame.
  5. Install the head restraint release cable (2) the left hand hinge bracket.
  6. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
