DEFINITION: The sunshade illuminated vanity mirror lamps do not activate when the mirror cover is open and the interior lamps override switch is on (interior courtesy lights enabled).

Inspect the filament of the sunshade illuminated vanity mirror lamp bulbs.

Are any bulb filaments open?

1. Remove the sunshade from the headliner. Refer to for service procedure.
2. Turn the ignition switch from the LOCK position to the RUN position.
3. Turn on the interior lamps override switch (interior courtesy lights enabled).
4. Use a test lamp in order to connect between the sunshade illuminated vanity mirror harness connector terminal A and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

Use a test lamp in order to connect between the sunshade illuminated vanity mirror harness connector terminal A and terminal B.

Did the test lamp light?

Replace the sunshade illuminated vanity mirror lamp bulb(s).

1. Inspect the sunshade illuminated vanity mirror connector terminal and bulb terminals for a faulty connection.
2. If the connection is OK, then replace the sunshade. Refer to for service procedures.
