DEFINITION: The roof rail reading lamps stay illuminated when all of
   the following  conditions exist: 
|     •  | All of the doors are closed. |  
  
|     •  | The instrument panel (IP) dimmer switch is off. |  
  
|     •  | The roof rail reading lamp switches are off. |  
  
|     •  | The interior lamps override switch is on (the interior lights
are enabled). |  
  
|     •  | None of the interior lighting modes are activated. |  
  
The inadvertent load (battery rundown) protection turns off the roof
rail reading lamps after 10 minutes. This action will occur      after
  3 minutes on vehicles with less than 24 accumulated km
       (15 miles).

- Close all of the doors.
 
- Turn off the IP dimmer switch.
 
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
 
- Turn on the interior lamps override switch (interior lights enabled).
 
- Cycle the switches for the windshield header courtesy/reading
lamps between the ON position and the OFF position.
 
 
Do the windshield header courtesy/reading lamps turn OFF?
