Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear quarter window. Refer to 
Quarter Window Replacement 
in Body Rear End.
 
- Fully open the sliding rear door.
 
- Use a heat gun in order
to heat the sliding door auxiliary weatherstrip. Keep the heat gun 150 mm
     (6 in)  from  the surface. Use a circular motion while applying
  heat    for about 30  seconds.
 
- Use a flat-bladed tool in order to peel the sliding door auxiliary
weatherstrip from the panel surface. DO NOT damage the paint.
 
- Use oil-free naphtha or alcohol in order to clean the body panel.
 
Installation Procedure
- Use a heat lamp or heat gun in order to warm the body panel to
a minimum of 21°C (70°F).
 
- Peel the backing from the front end of the sliding door auxiliary
weather strip. DO NOT touch the adhesive backing.
 
- Press the auxiliary weatherstrip
to the body.
 
- Hand roll the rear side door auxiliary weatherstrip to the body
in order to ensure proper adhesion.
 
- Install the rear quarter window. Refer to 
Quarter Window Replacement 
in Body Rear End.
