Removal Procedure
  1. If necessary, remove the power steering pump from the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1774580 Size: MH

    Important: Protect the power steering pump drive shaft with the shim stock.

  2. Use a small chisel in order to remove the seal.

    3. Discard the seal.

Installation Procedure
  1. Lubricate the new drive shaft seal using power steering fluid.

    2. Object Number: 1774580 Size: MH
  2. Use a deep socket to evenly press the new seal into the power steering pump housing.
  3. If removed, install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
