Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1556794 Size: SH
  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolt by accessing it through the wheelhouse opening.
  4. Remove the drive belt tensioner by accessing it through the wheelhouse opening.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1556794 Size: SH
  1. Install the drive belt tensioner by accessing it through the wheelhouse opening.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt by accessing it through the wheelhouse opening. Tighten the bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) .
  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
