Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the insulator panel. Refer to Knee Bolster, Insulator, Molding Replacement - Instrument Panel .
  2. Remove the electrical connector position assurance (CPA) clip.

    3. Object Number: 1544734 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the accelerator mounting bolts (1) from the accelerator bracket.
  5. Remove the accelerator assembly (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1544734 Size: SH
  1. Install the accelerator assembly (2) to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the accelerator mounting bolts (1) to the accelerator bracket.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the accelerator pedal nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the accelerator pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Confirm that the accelerator sensor CPA clip is fully secured.
  5. Install the insulator panel. Refer to Knee Bolster, Insulator, Molding Replacement - Instrument Panel .
  6. Verify the operation of the accelerator pedal.
