Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1547642 Size: SH
  1. Remove the blower motor. Refer to Blower Motor Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor.

    3. Note: Loosen the rearward blower motor resistor screws. The rearward blower motor resistor holes are slotted.

  3. Loosen the rearward blower motor resistor screws (3).
  4. Remove the forward blower motor resistor screw (3).
  5. Remove the blower motor resistor (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1547642 Size: SH
  1. Install the blower motor resistor (4).
  2. Install and snug the forward blower motor resistor screw.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Tighten the rearward blower motor resistor screws (3) to 1.2 N·m (11 lb in) .
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor resistor.
  5. Install the blower motor. Refer to Blower Motor Replacement .
