Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Uplander Ext. 🢒 Steering 🢒 Steering Wheel and Column 🢒 Tilt Lever Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  3. Remove the tilt lever spring (2).
  4. Remove the retaining bolt (3) from the tilt lever.

    5. Object Number: 1536526 Size: SH
  5. Remove the tilt lever (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1536526 Size: SH
  1. Install the tilt lever (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the retaining bolt (3) to the tilt lever and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in) .
  3. Install the tilt lever spring (2).
  4. Install the lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
