Preliminary Procedure

Use a heat gun in a circular motion to warm the sliding door body side molding prior to removal. Carefully clean the body panel thoroughly prior to bonding the molding to the rear sliding door panel.

Sliding Door Body Side Molding

Tip

1. Upon installation of the new molding, align the pin on the backside of the molding to the round hole first then to the oval hole.
2. Remove the protective liner strips from the backside of the molding.
3. Ensure full adhesion to the body using the palm of the hand with a dry towel working down the molding.
