This bulletin is being issued to revise some of the Fastener Tightening Specifications in the Front Suspension sub-section of the Service Manual. Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information.

The following information has been updated within SI. If you are using a paper version of this Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page.

¹ This is a prevailing torque type fastener. This fastener may be reused ONLY if:

•	The fastener and its counterpart are clean and free from rust.

•	The fastener develops a specified amount of torque (drag) against its counterpart prior to the fastener seating

Refer to the appropriate service procedure for the prevailing torque value.

If the fastener does not meet these criteria, REPLACE the fastener.
