The steering intermediate shaft is loose.

Repair or replace the steering intermediate shaft as necessary. Refer to Lower/Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

The steering gear is loose.

Tighten the steering gear mounting bolts to specifications. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement .

The tie rods are loose.

Repair or replace the tie rod(s) as necessary. Refer to Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End Replacement .

The wheel bearings are loose.

Replace the wheel bearing/hub. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement in Front Suspension.
