- Turn the IP dimmer switch off.
- Turn on the interior lights override switch enabling the interior
lights.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Close all the vehicle doors.
- While observing the interior courtesy lights, tap gently on the
inside door trim panels, near the door latches.
Did the interior courtesy lights remain off?

- Disconnect the BCM connector C2.
- Use a J 39200
in order to measure the resistance between the following components:

- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Reinstall any removed connectors or components.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position for 6 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Remove the BCM PRGRM fuse.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position. (The BCM flashes
the fasten belts indicator and sounds the chime 4 times identifying
the BCM type installed on the vehicle.)
- Within 1 second, turn the ignition switch from the ACC
position, to the LOCK position, then back to the ACC position. (The BCM sounds
any DTCs stored.)
