The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Tac has had several calls from dealerships reporting that GM part number 10315993 listed in Campaign 01013 has been superseded and no longer includes the necessary mounting bracket to complete the repair.
Recommendation/Instructions:
A Engineering Change Authorization (ECA) was recently completed and part number 10352388 will include all the necessary mount hardware and required bracket.
Important Note: If campaign 01013 was successfully completed and Service Information (SI) and/or dealers diagnosis leads to a unlatch actuator replacement GM part number: 19120850 (no mounting bracket) should be used.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
