Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the shock absorber/spring assembly. Refer to Shock Absorber Replacement .

    2. Important: Note the orientation between the mounting plate and the spring before removing the spring from the compressor

  2. Remove the spring and mounting plate from the spring compressor.

Installation Procedure
  1. Assemble the mounting plate to the spring ensuring proper orientation.

    2. Object Number: 1274244 Size: SH
  2. Align the center line of any of the upper mounting studs with the center line of the lower shock mount.
  3. Install the mounting plate and spring to the spring compressor.
  4. Install the shock absorber/spring assembly. Refer to Shock Absorber Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
