Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector from the pressure sensor.
1	A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 5 N·m (44 lb in)
2	O-ring Seal Tip Remove and discard the O-ring. Refer to O-Ring Replacement.

A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
5 N·m (44 lb in)

O-ring Seal

Tip
Remove and discard the O-ring. Refer to O-Ring Replacement.

Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement LLV, LLR

Tools Required

J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector

Removal Procedure

Disconnect the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector.
Remove the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor from the evaporator inlet tube.

Installation Procedure

Using a lint-free clean, dry cloth, carefully clean the sealing surfaces of the evaporator inlet tube fitting.

Note: DO NOT allow any of the mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil on the O-ring seal to enter the refrigerant system.

Lightly coat the O-ring seal with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Install the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor to the evaporator inlet tube. Tighten the sensor to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
Connect the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector.
Leak test the fittings of the component using J 39400-A .
