Rear Seat Replacement TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV
                    
Removal Procedure
- Remove the communication interface module if removing the right-hand rear
seat. Refer to 
Communication Interface Module Replacement
 in Cellular Communications.
 
- Remove the front 2 rear seat mounting nuts
(2) securing the seat to the vehicle.
 
- Fold the seat to the stowed position.
 
- Remove the rear 2 rear seat mounting nuts (2) securing the seat to the
vehicle.
 
- Remove the seat from the vehicle.
 
Installation Procedure
- Position the seat onto the floor studs.
The seat should be in the folded position.
 
- Install the 2 rear nuts (2). Do not tighten the nuts.
 
- Unfold the seat to ensure that the seat latch (1) properly engages the
latch bar (3) on the floor.
 
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the front 2 rear seat mounting nuts (2).
 
Tighten
Tighten the front rear seat mounting nuts to 45 N·m
(33 lb ft).
- Fold the seat to the stowed position.
 
- Tighten the 2 rear seat mounting nuts (2).
 
Tighten
Tighten the rear seat mounting nuts to 45 N·m
(33 lb ft).
- Install the communication interface module if installing the right-hand
rear seat. Refer to 
Communication Interface Module Replacement
 in Cellular Communications.
